Fuse Recruitment are currently on the hunt for experienced Vac Truck Offsiders for day shift work in Seven Hills.
This role will see you working minimum 50 hour weeks!
Role Overview: A a Vac Truck Offsider , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe collection of waste and recyclables from various commercial and residential locations.
Your professionalism and attention to detail will help maintain the high standards our clients expect.
You will need to pass both a medical and police check to be successful in obtaining this role.
For You: $41 - $46 p/hr + Super working 50 hour weeks on day shift (dependent on experience) Working hours of 6am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday role Weekend and Night shift overtime available as well Opportunity for career growth and development with a view to permanency.

Key Responsibilities: Assist Vac Truck operators on client sites Site Preparation: Clear the work area of debris or obstacles.
Set up safety barriers, cones, or signage to ensure a safe working environment.
Hose Handling: Assist in manoeuvring, connecting, or extending the vacuum hoses to reach specific areas.
Ensure the hoses are securely connected and monitor for any leaks or blockages.
Debris Management: Monitor and manage the material being removed to avoid overloading the vac truck.
Help in organizing or disposing of waste collected, as per site or environmental regulations.
Equipment Maintenance and Monitoring: Clean and inspect tools, hoses, and fittings before and after use.
Notify the operator of any wear, tear, or issues observed in the equipment.
Safety and Communication: Act as a spotter to guide the vac truck operator in tight or hazardous spaces.
Communicate with the operator to coordinate actions and ensure tasks are performed efficiently.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in the Waste Management services industry Water Treatment experience Hose Handling experience (Vac Truck equipment) Strong understanding of waste management processes and safety protocols.
Be prepared to complete physically demanding manual handling tasks Debris and waste disposal experience Ability to perform physical tasks and handle the demands of the role.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Reliability and punctuality.
