About this role The Head of Primary will play a vital role in supporting the Principal to develop, implement and manage the primary school operation. The Head of Primary will join the leadership team in leading according to the strategic vision of Palmerston Christian College. You will be instrumental in advising and implementing a high-quality Christian educational program while helping achieve our organisational goals through effective project and activity management related to Primary school. In this vibrant community, you'll be expected to exemplify Christian principles in all that you do, serving as a role model and witness to our values.
NT Christian Schools exists to advance the Christian religion through the provision of education and religious instruction. For the purposes of upholding the Christian ethos of our schools, it is a genuine occupational qualification of this role that applicants be able to teach religious education, lead, and otherwise assist in, religious practices and observances and personally adhere to, uphold, and authentically model the religious beliefs of NT Christian Schools.
All employees for NT Christian Schools are to be committed to ensuring child safety, health and wellbeing practices are followed and upheld. These practices are embedded in NT Christian Schools policy and culture as guided under current legislation.
What we offer 3 POR Points, an additional $12,480 annually. Six (6) weeks annual leave plus school holiday stand down time. 11.5% Super Contribution on top of salary. Long Service Leave pro-rata after five (5) years of continuous service (as opposed to ten). Fifteen (15) days per year of personal sick or carers leave, two (2) days discretional leave. Up to eight (8) weeks paid maternity leave for eligible employees and five days paid 'dad' leave. Continuous professional development in-person conferences and online e-learning. Tuition Discounts for your children if they attend an NTCS schools. Eligibility to be redeployed to another one of our regional or remote campuses.
