The Opportunity

This highly recognised, successful large brand with a positive culture now seeks a Corporate/Commercial Legal Counsel with about 2-6 years PQE.
New and exciting opportunity to join a small and collegiate in-house team; work across a broad range of commercial matters and cutting edge projects and support the strategic vision for the business. Working at mid-level in a fast-paced and agile environment, you will be a proactive member of the company.
This role will entail the drafting and negotiating of a wide range of contracts, as well as the provision of advice on legal issues to senior stakeholders in the business. You will be giving legal advice on a broad range of matters including:
– Mergers & Acquisitions
– Resources
– Projects/Construction
– General commercial contracts
– Competition and consumer law
– Regulatory/compliance,
Work broadly as you support marketing, sales, procurement, IT, transport logistics, and supply chain. You will liaise with people at all levels of the business.
Skills and Experience

A lawyer for this role will be career driven, have about 2-6years post-qualificationexperience and strong commercial acumen. Strong drafting skills are essential.
Must be a team player with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining work relationships.
