Job Description This is a Darwin based role. Relocation required for candidates outside Darwin.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of business analysis tasks, including requirements planning and management, requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation. You will capture existing business processes and propose changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Working closely with the Project Manager or Director, you will support the execution of project plans, collaborating with business stakeholders, project team members, and vendors.
Your key duties will include:
Facilitating workshops, interviews, and focus groups to gather and document business and functional requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Conducting walkthroughs to validate and obtain approval of business analysis outputs. Supporting testing activities and applying business analysis techniques to document requirements, objectives, outcomes, processes, procedures, work instructions, and workflows. Delivering high-quality project documentation in alignment with EPS project management frameworks. Managing sensitive information in line with information management policies. Qualifications Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst. Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process analysis, modelling, process mapping, and information analysis. Experience mapping business requirements to product functionality, identifying gaps and opportunities. Demonstrated ability to provide a holistic, human-centred approach to digital product design. Experience managing information requirements in line with approved record-keeping and information management policies. High-level analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and lateral thinking. Effective client liaison, change management, and facilitation skills. Experience working in collaborative environments with high-performing teams and tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, JIRA, and SharePoint. Experience identifying and analysing complex legislative and regulatory requirements.
