You'll be responsible for securing the best services and products at competitive prices for our nationwide operations.
You'll manage supplier relationships with key service providers and manufacturers to ensure we adhere to all relevant Australian building codes and regulations.
You'll play a key role in our continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline procurement processes and optimise overall indirect material purchasing costs.
You will also be required to regularly review, plan, and execute in-market delivery programs to maximise service level, safety, and performance in our organisation.The role has the ability to be based at any of our sites located in Girraween or St Marys, NSW, Dandenong South or Rowville, VIC, or Staplyton, QLD.About YouWe require a Procurement Manager with a background in building products or manufacturing.
Expertise in manufacturing services, utilities, market trends, and negotiation strategies is crucial in order to secure cost-effective and timely services and supplies to meet demands.
Naturally a people person with the ability to influence external suppliers and service your internal stakeholders, your strengths will be your high level of communication skills, technical aptitude, along with analytical skills.You will have:Experience in procurement category managementTertiary qualifications in Inventory/Procurement e.g.
