Job Description Contribute in various aspects of transaction analysis, preparation, and execution, including:
Gathering and analysing relevant data to support decision-making. Undertaking financial modelling and valuation activities. Coordinating due diligence investigations across internal and external parties. Managing data rooms and facilitating Q&A processes for divestment activities. Preparation of information memorandum and other marketing materials for potential transactions. Supporting the preparation of reports and presentations for Senior Leadership and Board-level audiences. Collaborating with other Group Functions to execute transaction-related tasks efficiently. Engaging with external transaction advisors to ensure smooth and effective execution. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Analyst will bring:
Bachelor's degree in a commercial or quantitative discipline such as Finance, Economics, or Business. Strong ability to interpret and analyse financial statements, including P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheets. Good understanding of corporate finance, economics, and valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flows (DCF) . Highly proficient in financial modelling, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of data sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, DataStream, and analyst/company reports, with the ability to effectively filter and coordinate relevant information. Experience presenting detailed financial analyses to senior stakeholders confidently. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within investment banking, management consulting, or Big 4 corporate finance, valuations, or transaction services. Exposure to the metals & mining sector will be advantageous and looked upon favourably.
