Are you an experienced Meat Inspector with a passion for ensuring the highest standards in food safety?
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a growing meat processing facility in Echuca .
As a Meat Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and safety of the meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
Inspect animals, plants, and produce to identify product quality issues.
Audit and monitor quality procedures at farms and food handling processing facilities.
Ensure that required standards of hygiene are observed.
Provide advice to producers on quality issues, disease eradication, and the economic impact of regulations.
Examine imported plants, animals, and products such as seeds and fruits, coordinating quarantine arrangements.
Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
About You:
Previous experience as a Meat Inspector ideally within a red meat processing environment.
Ovine experience is essential.
Cert III or IV in Meat Safety.
Understanding of government regulations.
Willingness to undertake a National Police Check and Q Fever vaccination.
Ability to collaborate effectively and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
