Materials Controllers

to join our Operations business in Australia & Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST).
Based in the sun-bronzed Northern Territory, this is an opportunity to join our expanding Operations team, as part of our strategic growth plan for 2024 and beyond.
This role is a long-term commitment role and is available on a permanent full-time / part-time (job share) basis.

Wood "Operations" delivers Brownfield's engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Energy industry.
Wood enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent Energy and LNG producers with operations in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Southeast Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Materials & Logistics Lead and the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking the effective receipt, storage, movement and control of all materials to support the business and for liaising with other Supply Chain, user groups, third parties, client and Supply Base & Marine contractors to ensure that all materials and equipment are received, marshalled and shipped in accordance with company procedures and internal controls.You will bring to life Wood's three-pillar strategy of Inspired Culture, Delivery Excellence and Profitable Growth on the project.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must have full work rights to work in this Australian location.

Ideally, you will hold an upper-secondary (equivalent to ISCED Level 3) qualifications from a recognised institution and have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in materials / logistics within the Oil & Gas industry.
You will also have:

Qualifications for dangerous Goods by Sea & AirManual handling / Forklift licence and experienceVaried and detailed work experience in the industry which would allow understanding of and exposure to key material control and logistics concepts and principlesPrevious experience with ERP systems (i.e.
ERM, Maximo, Oracle, SAP)The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and coordinate & prioritise activities accordinglyBe commercially astute with a "solutions mindset", sound management of risk, consistent with safety and commercial requirements.Be customer-focused with an ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence to contribute to the competitive advantage of #teamwood.
