Master Data Accountant

NES Fircroft are working with Woodside Energy seeking a Master Data Accountant to join their Finance Function and support a range of accounting activities. Location: Perth CBD Length of Contract: Initial 6 month contract Roster / Hours: Monday to Friday 7.5 hour days Start Date: ASAP (April 2024)Responsibilities:Working from Woodside Energy's state-of-the-art building in Perth CBD, you will work closely with various finance teams. Typical duties and responsibilities will include: Assist the finance business with master data creation, validation and maintenance of costing Work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines Ensure work is compliant with all statutory requirements, including tax, SOX and audit compliance and Woodside Code of Conduct Ensure effective record keeping and audit trail of business records and communications. Skills & Experience:To be successful in this role, you will need demonstrated experience in an accounting / finance / bookkeeping capacity. Accounting qualifications are not mandatory, although you may be studying towards an accounting qualification or professional certification. A working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP is of benefit.
