About the Role The Product Area Lead is responsible for the Martech Product Area strategic vision, roadmap and delivery .
This area is tasked with delivering new Martech capability to advance Customer experience and bank outcomes..
The role is focused on the 'what' and inspires Product Owners and squads to achieve their shared mission by guiding them on what to work on to achieve great customer Personalisation outcomes.
The Product Area Lead also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the Personalisation mission and engages with other Product Owners and areas to align and manage interdependencies.
It is a key leadership role, galvanising the squads around the vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.
This role requires a breadth of expertise to influence and integrate activities across squads, in and outside the Personalisation Tribe.
The Product Area Lead will also care for and nurture the growth of their people to ensure they are inspired by a sense of purpose and are continually building their mastery and autonomy.

This role is accountable for: • This role will have the ability to define, develop and execute the marketing technology strategy for decisioning, channel execution and RT Data applications and platforms, driving innovation in digital marketing capabilities .
• Responsible for optimising the integration and performance of marketing tools, platforms, and data to enhance customer experience, personalisation, and overall Martech capability.
• Collaboration with senior business, Tech, and product areas to ensure seamless alignment between technology investments and business outcomes.
• Collaboration with PAL Assets and Services to ensure all assets are well managed, fit for purpose, meet SLAs and continuously making advancement in productivity as per the technology capability roadmap for Martech.
• Collaborate with Program delivery and Initative Leads to deliver large multi squad and cross tribe program deliverables.
• Continuously assess emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in Martech innovation.
• Work with our colleagues in ANZ Plus to build a roadmap and plan for execution of a move towards Plus target state technologies within this remit • Define and maintain the platform roadmap for Unica, Moneythor and Adobe as well as Data and channel integration platforms.
• Manage upgrades to all Martech assets as per aligned roadmap, including licensing and benefits for the business/customer • Build and manage integration to new channels for marketing , service and compliance digital interactions and fulfillment • Technical and vendor relationship management including Unica(HCL), Moneythor, and Adobe including Unica and Moneythor OCM accountabilities • Define and manage risk mitigation controls • Realise the long term strategy to decommission legacy assets • Provide expertise to build capability uplift within Personalisation and across the bank • Stakeholder and relationship engagement and management including communication of new capability roadmaps • Prioritisation and delivery (via agile practise )of area and squads outcomes as aligned to Personalisation outcomes What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Degree level qualifications in Business, Analytics, Marketing or technology related field - or equivalent experience Relevant experience in Marketing technology fields with Martech tools (mandatory) Approximately 5+ years' experience within a business or technology PO role working with Marketing technical asset development The ability to translate a business requirement into a technical solution Scrum and agile software development methodologies; SAFe or equivalent Leadership, management or coaching training Proven track record of being able to understand how interactions between business and customers generate value, a deep understanding of the as is operational requirements and whilst optimising current capabilities to improve both customer experience and business outcomes.
Proven ability to innovate and adapt to latest development in area of expertise A focus on Continuous improvement and change Marketing/Industry knowledge You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
