Expressions of Interest  Highly respected not for profit organisation working in partnership with remote Indigenous communities.An exciting opportunity to work with remote communities of Australia (includes some travel).Red Dust has offices in Melbourne, Alice Springs and Darwin.Hybrid working arrangements available.Contract position until 30 June 2025 with opportunity to extend.Salary packaging benefits.Melbourne, Alice Springs or Darwin based.About Red Dust Red Dust inspires remote Indigenous communities through a unique 'community-as-family' model of health and well-being programs. For over twenty-five years we have walked alongside community leaders and Elders to create a stronger future for youth and their families. We draw on the strengths of both western health knowledge and traditional cultural knowledge that influence youth in community. Our positive role models combined with engaging, high-impact programs help build resilience in young people and inspire them to identify and pursue their dreams. We also work together with Australians more broadly to build cross-cultural competency through training and immersion experiences.

Real - We are hands on and work with integrity Ready - We are prepared with the skills and knowledge to achieve our goals Respectful - We develop sincere relationships and value the diversity of culture, people and places The role You will be a key member of the Red Dust Team responsible for planning and delivering a diverse marketing program that increases awareness of our impact and engagement with our programs. You will have an opportunity to draw on experience gained from supporting the delivery of programs in remote communities. This role reports to the Director, Partnerships & Philanthropy.
Key Responsibilities? Lead the development and delivery of the annual marketing and communications plan.Curate content to promote the stories and impact of Red Dust programs across owned and earned media channels.Contribute to stakeholder engagement including events and partner reporting.Take part in the Red Dust's remote community based programs (e.g. Healthy Living, Strong Young Men & Boys, Strong Young Women and On-Country Immersions program) in remote communities. (approx 5% of time / 3 weeks per year)What you will bring ? You are qualified or currently completing tertiary studies in communications, media, marketing or a related fieldYou're comfortable and effective communicating to a wide variety of audiences - large and small.You are able to build rapport with your stakeholders and audiences.You have strong time management and planning skills.You are willing to do what it takes to achieve the desired outcome.You are flexible and agile to adapt to dynamic environments.You have a high level of digital literacy, including experience using various social media platforms, content creation software as well as the Microsoft Office suiteAbility to obtain an Ochre Card (NT Working With Children Check).What's on offer Competitive salary on contract until 30 June 2025 with an opportunity to extend.NFP salary packaging benefits.? Flexible working conditions.? A fun and rewarding environment with an organisation making a difference in Aboriginal health and wellbeing.? Our organisation is committed to child safety.
