Our purpose is to ensure that people in the Northern Territory understand their legal rights and disadvantaged people have access to quality legal services, and to uphold a fair Northern Territory and national justice system.About the role:Under the direction of the Associate Director, Client Services, manage the Grants Section and the assignment of legally assisted cases to Legal Aid NT's legal practices and private law firms. The Managing Solicitor will oversee the administration of applications for legal aid, ensuring effective and efficient management of resources, and providing guidance and leadership to the organisation.About you:Legal Aid NT is looking for a lawyer with experience in administrative decision making and a commitment to social justice. We are seeking candidates with high-level initiative and the ability to lead a dynamic team.
