This role is an exciting opportunity to work with the broader Digital Delivery, Innovation and Architecture team who focus on efficiently testing and delivering quality products following latest industry practices. This includes a range of services, support and skill augmentation services tailored to each agencies’ business needs and ICT roadmap. We enable agencies to deliver personalised digital experience’s to NSW and this role will be pivotal in achieving this!

Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and overseeing the capabilities across all aspects of testing (including test strategy development, planning, execution, environment management, test automation, UAT and Defect Management, implementation and post-implementation support)
Work with business and technology partners to design solutions that can meet current and future testing needs, presenting technical solutions to a range of stakeholders and customers (technical and non-technical)
Implementing improvements in test automation development processes and tools with the aim of reducing development effort and cycles of test execution and increasing delivery speed.
Lead, develop and mentor a team of practitioners to build the testing and automation capability, and effectively manage and lead a large group of partners and vendors in this space.
Developing and maintaining key relationships to influence and negotiate favourable project outcomes.
Providing expert advice to resolve issues, mitigating and controlling risks and escalating concerns surrounding key deliverables in a proactive manner
Presenting detailed updates to steering committees and key stakeholders to highlight risks, milestones and performance outcomes

About you:
A passionate leader and mentor with extensive hands on knowledge of supporting the design and implementation of testing solutions.
Highly skilled in being able to seek and achieve pragmatic approaches to solving problems.
A deep understanding of QA principles with strong experience in managing end to end testing with partner and downstream applications.
Proven success to lead distributed and cross-functional teams to drive transformative change with high-quality commercial outcomes.
Experience in delivery through Agile and DevOps methodologies, and well-versed related toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins).
Ability to establish strong relationships with broad and varying stakeholders.
Tertiary-level qualifications in computer science or relevant industry recognized certifications
Experience in the following technologies are advantageous: Tricentis TOSCA,Selenium, Salesforce,.Net,Java.
