Join our Workforce Team as the Manager of Strategic Workforce and HR Systems The Manager, Strategic Workforce & HR Business Support plays an important role in driving leadership and expertise in the development and delivery of key strategies for recruitment, attraction, retention, and workforce deployment.
These strategies are designed to address critical skill shortages and support SALHN's strategic priorities.
To achieve key outcomes, the manager is responsible for providing expert guidance, offering strategic advice, and contributing to the development and collaborative execution of workforce policies, strategies, plans, systems, and processes.
These efforts ensure that SALHN staff receive high-quality, responsive workforce services.
The ultimate goal is to guide and support SALHN's Executive and Managers in making informed decisions and implementing best practices across Workforce Planning, Recruitment, and HR Business Support Services.
About you: Proven experience in leading HR teams across a spectrum of HR functions.Highly developed interpersonal skills together with proven abilities in liaising, consulting, and negotiating complex and sensitive issues.Ability to work independently under broad direction and to manage projects, including identifying performance outcomes, planning activities, and setting priorities to achieve objectives and meet deadlines, often in a context of competing priorities and expectations.High-level interpersonal skills resulting in effective collaboration and productive working relationships with peers, staff, and stakeholders, along with the ability to interact confidently and employ astute perception and strong listening skills.High-level conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to research and undertake sensitive and/or complex investigations and projects (including risk management), critically examining, analyzing, and summarizing information, and developing and reporting on appropriate policies, strategies, and solutions.Application Closing Date: 11.55 pm Monday 27 January 2025
