Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.
Perpetual Wealth Management The wealth management business consists of three distinct brands in addition to Perpetual Private – Fordham, Jacaranda financial planning, and Priority Life – offering a unique mix of wealth management, advice, and trustee services. Our clients include individuals, families, businesses, not-for-profit organisations, and Indigenous communities throughout Australia.
About the role Join our dynamic team at Jacaranda! (This is a fixed term role for 12 months) As an Operations Manager, you will:
Manage the delivery of all functions of the Jacaranda Client Service Management Team.Allocate workflow tasks and priorities for the team.Be the key contact and escalation point for the Jacaranda business.Deliver regular compliance and management reports.Coach and develop staff, identify learning gaps, and develop training plans.Manage key controls and risk reporting/mitigation and ensure compliance.About you We're looking for someone with:
Minimum 3 years' experience in operational roles within the Financial Services Industry with significant exposure to Xplan.Demonstrated leadership experience coupled with strong people management skills.Excellent communication skills.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Experience managing staff workflow and performance levels against agreed criteria.Strong knowledge of advice implementation and client service processes.Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.How we work Our unique culture is underpinned by our three organisational behaviours: Stretch, Own it, Make an impact, which drive our approach to day-to-day interactions with colleagues and clients.
