The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations. The Manager Financial Planning & Analysis oversees the consolidation of Power and Water Corporation (PWC) forecasts and financial reports into corporation wide reporting as well as report design, developing key performance indicators and financial strategy, enterprise valuation, financial modelling and management reporting through the Senior Manager Business Finance. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in complex commercial environments, including business unit consolidation and the preparation of complex financial statements. They must demonstrate professional judgment in aligning decisions with organisational value targets and risk thresholds. Proficiency in diverse accounting software, report generation, and advanced analytical skills is essential. A proven track record in enterprise valuation, corporate finance principles, successful team management, budgeting, and financial reporting analysis is crucial. Moreover, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effectively conveying financial results to stakeholders, including shareholders and the Board. Relevant experience in a utility or similar environment, along with post graduate qualifications in a related discipline complemented by Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant membership is highly desired.
