Our Opportunity Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, this role is based at our Lidcombe site in night shift (10pm to 6 am).
This position is responsible for coordinating maintenance and engineering for production/site operations, implementing preventative maintenance procedures, providing a safe working environment, ensuring Workplace Health and Safety standards, company policies, and good housekeeping practices are adhered to, and implementing continuous improvement procedures to reduce downtimes and increase line efficiencies.
Main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Provide support to the Maintenance Coordinator to lead the night shift, including allocating duties, arranging meal breaks, and giving positive and constructive feedback.Assist in defining the work priorities for the maintenance trades team.Escalate any urgent maintenance-related issues or breakdowns to the Maintenance Coordinator and/or Maintenance Manager.Assist the Maintenance Coordinator in managing and coordinating external trades and contractors.Liaise with other site Leading Hands and Coordinators to ensure that optimal maintenance support is provided to the site.To be successful in this position, you will have: Trade qualification;Experience in fault finding/troubleshooting skills;Problem-solving knowledge and experience: 5 why's, fishbone, and 5's skills.Ability to build rapport with all stakeholders;High attention to detail;Effective communication skills.Self-motivation, a strong focus on safety, environment, and quality, and be able to work as part of an effective team.In return, we offer an exciting career challenge for you to make an immediate impact, career growth opportunities, a competitive salary package, and a team-oriented and fast-paced work environment committed to succeeding.
