Maintenance Fitter – 3X Permanent Positions

3x Maintenance Fitters required for permanent positions in Melbourne's South East Your new company Our client is an Australian owned meat processing plant, currently experiencing an increase in production and demand, is seeking multiple highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitters to join their team on both afternoon & night shifts. Your new role Operating within the Maintenance Team, your new role will see you working within a meat processing plant with a culture-first environment. Your main duties will include but not limited to machine fault-finding, equipment repairs and involvement in ongoing preventative maintenance and general troubleshooting duties. You will have a proactive approach to maintenance as you work with the maintenance team to locate and identify potential faults to be rectified. What you'll need to succeed A strong level of mechanical aptitude and experience with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics and welding/Fabrication skills Experience working in a similar role within the meat or food processing industry Must be a team player but also able to work independently. An excellent problem solver with good analytical skills.
