About The Position
We are excited to announce a newly created position for a Strategic Administrator to support the growth at MacKillop Family Services.
We are seeking highly experienced administrators who can hit the ground running and provide essential support to the MacKillop Education and Engagement Programs by assisting the Director and program team leaders in achieving strategic goals through effective administration, reporting, and coordination.
This position is integral to maintaining streamlined operations across multiple programs, ensuring smooth execution of key tasks. Key responsibilities include facilitating leadership meetings, managing termly program schedules, and overseeing staff training schedules. You will manage reporting functions, ensuring accurate data to track progress against program funding requirements and stakeholder expectations, while delivering comprehensive administrative support to enhance productivity and resource alignment.
A key focus of the role will be embedding child safety policies and practices into all program activities, ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery to children, families, and communities. Experience in a school setting is preferred; however, it is not essential for applying.
This position is a part-time 3 days per week position based in our Footscray office. There is the possibility of a flexible working arrangement that can be considered and discussed based on the needs of the role and the individual.

Relevant qualifications and demonstrated administrative experience. A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families. Demonstrated experience working with education settings, government sector, non-for-profit and/or communities on educational initiatives. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and internal and external stakeholders. High-level interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
