The Health Support Services (HSS) provide a range of support services underpinning the direct care delivery to patients and their families and carers by providing high-quality non-clinical services to Western Health.
These services include Logistics, environmental services, communications and administration, mail services, linen and food services, waste management, transport services, retail, and car-parking.
The Logistics team provides support in areas of strategic space planning, furniture moves, way finding and signage, space and desk allocations, space strategy and master planning encompassing the readiness of activation and deactivation and co-ordinated responses to the mobilisation of new clinical or non-clinical services at any Western Health Site.
The Logistics team supports business management including landlord management and lease management and conducts project management coordinating the project management office, project control group, commissioning and readiness, service disruptions, in-room filtration equipment, and Fleet.
Within the Logistics team, the Logistics Manager - Solutions Specialist role is responsible for enhancing organisational structures, systems, and procedures within the Logistics team, with a strong focus on process automation and data-driven decision-making to improve operational efficiency.
Leveraging expertise in data analysis and process optimisation, this role aims to streamline workflows, reduce reporting times, and support cost-effective solutions across Logistics operations at Western Health.
