In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics landscape and ensuring that our operations are equipped to support upcoming plans.
You will work closely with divisional supply chain managers to align our internal logistics operations with the delivery of goods and be responsible for managing national inbound supply (Air/Ocean) into Australia and national inventory management across four warehouses.
Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work with various stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, Warehouse, and the outbound/delivery fulfillment team to meet business expectations and fulfill customer demands.
Your main objective will be to ensure that stock is available in the right location at the right time.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong background in both inbound Air & Ocean freight as well as inventory management.
It is crucial that you have experience and understanding of compliance requirements for warehouse stock management and transport.
In addition, we are looking for individuals who are resilient, forward-thinking, and possess a natural knack for thinking outside the box.
Role and Responsibilities Inventory Management: Manage inventory gaps and conduct monthly national cycle counts and bi-annual stocktakes Resolve interface transaction errors and oversee stock movement between state warehouses Coordinate new model quality control and analyse and report damages Administer local and overseas insurance and handle claims Maintain incidental cost matrix for accruals and monitor Export House Cargo System (EHCS) Coordinate rework activities and forecast carton requirements Inbound Logistics: Oversee inbound inventory and support the 3 PL/Sales team to ensure on-time goods receipt Monitor performance metrics and conduct performance reviews for team members Manage freight-forwarder relationships and drive process improvements Collaborate with 3 PL partners to ensure receipt of stock aligns with sales targets and forecasts Analyse product launch and promotion plans and develop rolling inbound volume forecasts Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with warehousing and transport regulations and manage 3 PL relationships Conduct site audits to maintain compliance standards and report compliance breaches and risks to senior management Skills and Qualifications Requirements 5 years + experience in Inbound Freight Management and/or warehouse and transport management and has experience in inventory management Prior team management experience Tertiary Logistics qualification (desirable) Proficient with SAP (IM Module) and has advanced in MS Excel Strong business acumen with ability to confidently communicate and build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders What sets us apart from the rest?
