This role involves ensuring complete customer satisfaction when dealing with the organisation.?    What you'll do???  ?  Working closely with new and existing clients to determine their present and future Software Licensing needs and proposing suitable services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue for the organisation.   Moving our customers from transacting licenses to our Asset Management Service is key to delivering the best in market Licensing Service, promoting Asset Management Services to clients giving us the insights to cloud products they currently consume to advise on how to optimise their spend across all vendors.   Maintaining regular contact with clients, providing licensing program updates and planning for all software renewals. Understanding the customer's Software Licensing objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes and forming long term business partnerships in order to leverage revenue from the relationship and promote the organisation as a quality supplier with the aim of achieving "preferred" supplier status.   Negotiating price and volume discounts (where applicable) in accordance with the organisation's policies and liaising with Technical Support staff regarding technical issues to ensure client retention and continued business.   Identifying and gaining new Software Licensing business through working with the PSG Account Managers and Enterprise Sales teams and keeping abreast of competitor's Sales strategies.   Coordinating the preparation of Software Licensing proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.   Advising customers of other services, we can deliver to assist with Optimising their software spend and ensuring they are utilising all products purchased    What you'll bring??  ?  Expert product and industry knowledge. Strong business acumen  4+ years' relevant sales and licensing experience  Ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.   Excellent customer relationship building and management skills.   Strong influencing and persuasive ability.   Effective presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information across various levels.   Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders.   Strong consultative and planning skills  Desirable:  Microsoft MCP certification.   Software Licensing or Solution Selling certifications    Why join us here at Datacom??    Datacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
