Skip to content Biological & Biomedical Sciences (Science & Technology)Other (Education & Training) Full time $110,500 to $153,889 + 17% super + 6 weeks leave Research Active Academic Level B/C Salary- $110,500 to $153,889 pa Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus Deliver an engaging learning experience for Medical Laboratory Science students at Charles Darwin University (CDU) About the Position As a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer Medical Laboratory Science, you will contribute to the range of programs offered by the Faculty of Health, including undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Medical Laboratory Science and undergraduate programs in Biomedical Science and Clinical Sciences.
Making a significant contribution to the Medical Sciences discipline, you will develop and deliver engaging learning activities, including lectures, workshops, and practical sessions that foster active learning, critical thinking, and industry-standard skills among students.
About You To be successful, you will require: A Ph D in a medical laboratory science discipline or equivalent industry experience in a relevant discipline and a distinguished record in an area relevant to the portfolio.
Demonstrated record of significant industry experience relevant to medical laboratory science, including diagnostic laboratory experience.
Demonstrated experience in tertiary education in medical laboratory science disciplines, including the development and delivery of units/courses and student resources (including for online and face to face teaching) and laboratory classes within the context and requirements of a quality education provider.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and foster a supportive learning environment.
Commitment to professionalism, ethical conduct, cultural safety and the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical science education and professional practice.
Eligibility for membership with the Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists (AIMS) is desired.
This position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in accordance with s57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT) 1992.

The base salary will be in the range of $110,500 to $153,889 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $129,285 to $180,050 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
