Lecturer - Health and Community Services Lecturer - Health and Community Services (CDU TAFE) Full time, continuing appointment Teaching Focused Academic Level A – up to $109,071 pa Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Alice Springs, NT Apply your passion and experience in Health and Community Services to teach students at CDU. About the Position
As the Lecturer – Health and Community Services you will contribute to the teaching effort of programs provided by the Health and Community Services Team. This includes preparing, delivering, and assessing students to the competency standards of the CHC and HLT Training Packages in line with best teaching practices and industry standards, within a team environment. 
Units from other Training Packages may be required to be delivered from time to time. The role contributes to growing the teaching business and anticipates and responds to industry training requirements.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
Demonstrated experience providing training within an educational institution in Health and Community Services.  Experience in researching and developing training tools to meet the needs of students and/or industry clients as per ASQA requirements. Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including communicating culturally sensitively with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language.  Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.  Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages.  Demonstrated ability to abide by and implement Workplace Health and Safety Policies and Equal Opportunity Policies and Procedures.  Industry experience working within community services in the disability and/or aged care sectors Experience facilitating education and/or the training of students working within the aged care and/or disability sectors.

Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level A. The base salary will be in the range of $72,702 - $109,071 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,061 - $127,613 per annum, including 17% superannuation. What's in it for you?
