Training & Development (Human Resources & Recruitment) About the Role The Learning and Development Manager is responsible for the implementation and overall functioning of the non-clinical learning and development service for Fiona Stanley Hospital in accordance with contractual requirements, relevant standards, and best practice. Reporting to the HRMS Manager, this role will provide leadership and support in the operational management of the Learning and Development Team. Key responsibilities include: Implement and maintain a learning and development strategy to support and nurture the development of a one team culture. Oversee the workforce wide delivery of high-quality flexible learning opportunities to a range of learners comprising Serco and hospital employees, volunteers and subcontractors.  Initiate and maintain positive engagement across all service lines to support the development of innovative, relevant, and engaging training and development solutions. Monitor team practices and compliance standards to ensure consistency with legislative and contract requirements. This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check as an essential selection component for this role. You are always alert to the customer's point of view and demonstrate a sense of urgency. You can lead a diverse team, demonstrating respect for individual differences and perspectives amongst colleagues.  To be successful in this role, you will have: Significant experience in a senior Learning and Development role within a complex environment. Extensive experience in a managerial capacity securing quality business outcomes and high levels of staff engagement. Experience designing and implementing corporate Learning Management System(s) Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create and sustain effective partnership approaches. Ability to work and influence at a leadership level whilst being able to successfully engage at an operational level.
