Working within the Program Delivery team at TasNetworks, we have an exciting Leader Contracts opportunity. The role is responsible for leading a dynamic team who contribute to the delivery of TasNetworks Works Program through the use of external contract service providers. Whilst leading this team the role is also responsible for managing contracts of service providers, including strategic contract agreements. Working towards effective business relationships and efficient and customer focussed outcomes, responsibilities can also include:
Delivering timely and cost effective program of works activities, with a focus on commercial strategy and building relationshipsDrive a risk based approach and influence ownership of contracts and agreements with both internal and external stakeholdersManage contractor works including compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations About the roleWorking within the Program Delivery team at TasNetworks, we have an exciting Leader Contracts opportunity. About youWe are looking for suitably qualified (Electrical Engineering/Business/Commerce) or experienced candidates with a pro active, strategic approach, with a proven ability to inspire and lead a small team in a fast paced environment.
You will have extensive knowledge and capability in contract management at a senior level, with comprehensive strategy and business planning experience. Your success in delivering agreed outcomes in a similar industry or major corporate environment will affirm this.
Your excellent communication skills (including the ability to present key issues at all levels), coupled with a commercial focus on negotiating and influencing, will see you succeed in this role.
