This position is ideal for a lawyer or associate who is looking at progressing their career within commercial law.
As a member of the team, you will work closely with our Legal Directors and senior lawyers on commercial legal matters whilst growing your skillset as a commercial lawyer.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of matters such as business sales and purchases, leasing matters, drafting and negotiating complex contracts, constitutions and shareholder agreements and advising in relation to requests for tender and compliance matters, across a broad range of businesses.
You will also be regularly participating in business development activities, including networking events and building and maintaining client relations as well as speaking at events and forums and preparing articles.This is a full-time, permanent position that will be based in the Perth CBD office.
Commencement of this role will begin from 6 January 2025.Key responsibilities include:Handling complex issues and providing high quality advice and practical solutions to clientsAchieving annual revenue targets and managing client mattersActively participating in business development activities including regularly attending networking functions and preparation of high-quality presentations or articles to existing and prospective clientsContinuously maintain an engaged client baseCollaborating with co-workers across various CCIWA Business UnitsDemonstrating commitment to a safety focused culture and promotion of a safe workplaceAbout YouThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who has 2 to 4 years post admission experience as a commercial lawyer to work in our CBD office on a full-time basis.
You will possess strong problem-solving and effective communication skills, attention to detail, be able to work as a team and have the ability to build effective professional relationships.
