Key Account Manager - Tasmania Join a national c onstruction-based company dedicated to delivering exceptional service, who are known for their reliability and industry expertise.
They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager for them to strengthen client relationships and drive business growth in Tasmania.
This role offers significant autonomy and is ideal for a driven individual who thrives in the field, excels at relationship-building, and is proactive in navigating regional challenges such as weather conditions and local business dynamics.
Role Overview: As the Key Account Manager for Tasmania, you will manage existing client accounts and actively pursue new business opportunities.
This solo, field-based role requires someone who can overcome communication barriers, adapt to seasonal construction slowdowns, and devise innovative strategies for growth.
Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, becoming their go-to contact for all project needs.
Business Development: Seek new opportunities by meeting site supervisors, secondary contacts, and cold-calling on construction sites, and reseraching future projects and market trends.
Autonomy & Fieldwork: Operate independently as the sole representative in Tasmania, with the flexibility to manage your schedule and approach.
Strategic Role: Implement strategies to address regional challenges such as weather and construction downtime.
Focus on networking, enhancing the company's local reputation, and building trust within the community.
What We're Looking For: Proven Experience: Solid background in Key Account Management and Business Development.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, managing your own schedule and approach to drive results.
Relationship Builder: Skillful at introducing yourself to new contacts, building rapport, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
