The Job The Junior UI/UX Designer is a member of the Product team.
The role will work alongside the UI/UX Designer, Product Team and members of the agile and frontend teams providing user interface prototypes, based on project scope.
This role will work on improving AroFlo's frontend layouts, components and pages, to ensure user experience is consistent and accessible.

What You'll Do KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Ensure AroFlo design patterns are applied throughout the system consistently.
Quality control of our user experience, ensuring new enhancements follow the AroFlo design guidelines.
Conduct product research and provide insight to the team.
Produce user interface designs and prototypes.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Make strategic UI and UX decisions on new and existing functionality.
Maintain consistent and reusable components that are easily accessible to internal teams.
Drive UI and brand consistency across our digital products.
Design, prototype, and execute user experiences, including layout design, typography, micro-interactions and more.
Confidently present design concepts to various stakeholders and teams across the business.
Demonstrate expertise in understanding user problems and uncover product pain points to design considered interfaces that meet business requirements and the needs of the end user.
Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task competing priorities across multiple projects.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders, UI/UX Designer, Product Managers, Developers, Documentation and Marketing teams.
Ability to build positive working relationships with internal staff and stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your rationale.
As a part of the team, you will be asked to provide input to help our business processes.
EXPERIENCE: Proficiency using Figma or other similar ancillary tools.
Must have confidence designing with auto-layouts, component variations and component properties.
Prior product design experience participating through the product development cycle of one or more successfully launched web or mobile apps.
Experience developing journey maps, user flows, sketches and annotated wireframes.
Research/product discovery experience.
Solid communication skills.
Skills in visual design with a keen eye for aesthetics.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, JS is a bonus.
