About the North East Metro Interim Regional Body Eight Interim Regional Bodies have been established as time-limited entities in response to a key recommendation from the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System. The Interim Regional Bodies have been established to provide advice to the Department of Health as it plans, develops, coordinates, funds and monitors a range of mental health and wellbeing services in each region.
About the role The North East Metro Interim Regional Body is seeking an Executive Officer to advance and support the delivery of key milestones in the lead up to the establishment of the Regional Boards. This is a senior and entrusted role, suited to someone that is highly driven, has significant professional experience and brings a wide skill set that encompasses project management; stakeholder management; strategy and advice; communications and reporting. Employed by Austin Health on behalf of the North East Metro Health Service Partnership (as an auspice body), the IRB Coordinator will need to work closely with Interim Regional Body Chair and members and the Department of Health (in particular, the Regional Governance Operations team within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division).

Passionate about reform of the Mental Health system in Victoria.
A self-starter who can hit the ground running, work with relative independence and multiple reporting points. 
Comfortable with in person engagement with community, including diverse and lived experience community members.
