This role is based in our head office in Canberra, with the option to work from home each Wednesday.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the General Manager - Investor Relations, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, you will be responsible for:Managing the investor services inbox and phone line and responding to retail and institutional investor queriesCoordinating investor statements quarterly (dividends and exits) and annually (periodic and tax)Processing quarterly investor distributions and dealing with withheld paymentsPreparing or contributing to ad-hoc investor communications and corporate actionsManaging the external unit registry provider, including quality control, relationship management, reporting and compliance obligationsManaging one direct report for the Investor Services function, and general office administration requirementsResponding to queries from existing and potential institutional investors and covering broker analystsProviding financial modelling expertise, including developing or maintaining investment modelsWorking closely with the Communications and Marketing team to provide communications and service to our investorsRequirementsYou may have experience from the financial planning or banking industryYou have RG146 certification and ideally have tertiary qualifications in finance, business or communicationsYou understand investment products and have established financial markets/product knowledgeInvestment modelling and associated MS Excel skills not a requirement but will be viewed favourablyYou can demonstrate relationship building skills, such as overseeing a small team, working with internal stakeholders or in a client-based roleYou will have experience drafting written correspondence for external publications and have a strong attention to detailYou can demonstrate both empathy and persuasiveness while being comfortable regularly working to critical deadlinesBenefitsA competitive salary, dependent on your previous experience, skills, and qualificationsCompany laptopSalary continuance and life insurance (subject to eligibility criteria)Annual discretionary bonus (subject to eligibility criteria)How to Apply:To be considered for this position, please submit a covering letter addressing the criteria mentioned above and your resume via our website by 14 July 2024.
