The Opportunity: The position of ILS Support Specialist will assist the Information Assurance (IA) team based in Canberra by offering diverse ILS Support capabilities.
The role entails contributing to aspects of ILS planning, development, and contract execution within the Project environment, starting from the requirements determination phase, through to capability delivery and transition planning for support responsibility.
Responsibilities: Apply expertise in Through Life Support and Sustainment Management to bolster a significant Defence Capability
Aid in conducting Logistics Support and Maintenance Engineering Analysis to formulate future documentation and plans in support of the capability
Assist in performing analyses such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA/FMECA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Spares Analysis, Training Needs Assessment (TNA), and Life Cycle Cost Modeling
Develop Maintenance Plans and instructions for Correcting and Planned maintenance to facilitate all levels of maintenance (organisational, intermediate, Depot)
Contribute to establishing an LCC, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability reporting environment to monitor and report on the achievement of the ILS program for the capability, utilising existing stakeholder reporting methods
Assist in preparing reports on the performance of the ILS program for management review and task performance, including the conduct of Root Cause Analysis
What you will bring: Australian Citizenship and hold an active Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) AGSVA Security Clearance (Mandatory)
Track record of at least 8 years in ILS operating inside Defence / Defence Industry
Experience with Introduction Into Service of new equipment
Experience with MILIS data entry and management
Experience with codification, inventory management, warehousing or cataloguing
