Position Summary:
At RSM in our Restructuring and Recovery practice in Canberra we are looking to speak with insolvency specialists from Analyst to Assistant Manager level. You will be involved in insolvency, restructuring and turnaround engagements from end to end and depending on your level of experience you will either be a contributor or a manager of these appointments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct or support interviews of directors/bankruptsAttend premises to assist with trade on of a business and prepare budgets and forecastsLiaise with lawyers, agents, auctioneersOversee and coordinate realization of assets of a company or individualMonitor statutory deadlinesShare knowledge, best practices and industry market trends to actively increase the overall knowledge of the team.Review work of junior team members.Ensure processing of information into the Firms systems has been properly recorded.Identify, research and resolve all complex issues. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Essential Business / Commerce degree with Accounting MajorLaw degree (LLB or JD) with an interest in Insolvency Desirable Involvement with technical insolvency forums/trainingCompleted CA or equivalent if holding an accounting degreeCompleted the ARITA Advanced Certification if holding a law degree DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES: Essential 2+ years' experience in Professional ServicesStrong Communication SkillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work autonomously and as part of a team Desirable Previous experience managing a teamStrong networking skills Life at RSM:
