As an Import/Export Operations team member at AussieFreight International Logistics, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our freight and cargo forwarding business. This full-time position is based in our Brisbane, Eagle Farm office, where you will be responsible for managing the administrative and operational aspects of both import and export shipments, whilst providing a very high standard of customer service.
What you'll be doing Receive, process and track import/export documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, bills of lading and customs clearance paperworkLiaise with clients, shipping lines, customs brokers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goodsCoordinate and monitor the progress of shipments, providing regular updates to clientsMaintain accurate records and database entries related to all import and export activitiesAssist with the resolution of any issues or discrepancies that arise during the shipping processWhat we're looking for Proven experience in a similar import/export operations or freight forwarding roleStrong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholdersUnderstanding of international import/export procedures, documentation and customs clearance requirementsProblem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamWhat we offer At AussieFreight, you will be part of a close, friendly and supportive team.
