Job Overview:
As an APS4 Administrative Support Officer , you'll provide crucial administrative support across various business functions, reporting to senior staff.
Your responsibilities will include financial administration and executive support, ensuring smooth team operations.

Level / Classification: APS4
Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 3 Months + Possibility of 3 Months extension.

Requirements:
Ability to obtain Government Clearance Selection criteria response Key Duties / Tasks:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to various business areas.
Collaborate with leaders to enhance staff capabilities through training.
Draft responses to inquiries, manage financial tasks, and coordinate information.
Assist in executive support functions like travel arrangements and calendar management.
Ensure compliance with procedures and frameworks.
Coordinate services such as property management and procurement activities.
Foster stakeholder relationships and represent the team in relevant forums.
Support staffing activities including recruitment and training coordination.
Conduct research, maintain databases, and assist in report preparation.
Oversee administrative staff work quality and participate in quality assurance activities.
Knowledge Required:
Administrative standards, legislation, and policies.
Privacy, ethics, workplace safety, and security protocols.
Familiarity with business systems and tools.
Draft complex/sensitive correspondence, research papers, documents, submissions, and briefs for Executive Officer review and approval.
