Safety & Training Advisor | HSET Advisor: Mid-West About Us Terra Mining is a dynamic leader in Western Australia's mining sector, rapidly expanding its portfolio of projects across the region.
As we embark on new ventures and continue to grow with another project located in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, our site team is seeking an experienced HSET Advisor to join the Terra Mining team.
About The Position We are seeking a HSET Advisor with surface mining operation experience, along with experience in bulk earthworks and the construction of tailings dams.
Their day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Promoting a safety culture through coaching and mentoring Developing and implementing safety procedures Participating in workplace incident investigations Coordinating and conducting workplace safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments Assisting in delivering on our site safety management plans What We Are Seeking A Safety Training professional who values safety first in everything they do, including looking out for their teammates:
Tertiary qualifications in OHS/WHS 5 years of experience as a Safety Trainer on mine site & earthworks projects Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Strong attention to detail Certification in Workplace Auditing and Injury Management/Rehabilitation experience is desirable but not essential High level of written and verbal communication A positive attitude towards safety and teamwork You must have full Australian working rights, be able to complete and pass a medical assessment (including drug & alcohol screen), and provide a current National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months).
