Quest Townsville on Eyre has an opportunity available for a Room Attendant to join its team on a long-term casual basis with the option to become full-time after 12 months.
The Role Quest Townsville on Eyre housekeepers are highly valued members of our teams and key to ensuring positive experiences for our guests and the overall success of the business.
In particular, the role involves providing housekeeping and room attendant services for apartments (studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom apartments) and cleaning common areas to ensure high standards of presentation of the property in line with the Quest brand standards and efficient operations based on occupancy demands and guest needs.
The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent communication skills, a friendly customer service demeanor, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, discretion in guest interaction, and a strong appreciation for workplace safety.
An ability to follow instructions and work quickly and efficiently to achieve individual and team goals is key.
Prior experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, ideally in a business environment, is not essential; however, qualifications and prior experience in cleaning, as well as the hospitality, travel, or tourism industries, would be highly regarded.
The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia for one employer for longer than 6 months.
