About the Opportunity Torbay Lifestyles & Care is seeking part time and casual Hotel Services Workers based in Hervey Bay, QLD.
As a Hotel Services Worker, you will work under the guidance of experienced staff to gain the skills and knowledge required to provide quality care to older people.
A varied role where no two days are the same, you will be required to assist in all our hospitality areas, doing any number of the following duties:
Food preparation for cooking and servicesServing meals and ensuring a friendly, interactive dining experience for residentsEnsuring stock is labelled, rotated, and used to minimise food wastageRubbish removal, dishwashing, and general cleaningVacuuming, mopping, and polishing floorsDusting, polishing, and general tidyingCleaning bathroom facilitiesLaundering, pressing / ironing, and folding items such as linen and residents' garmentsOpportunities for successful candidates to be offered permanent part-time roles where available.
About You To be successful you will be passionate about making a positive impact, and enjoy interacting with older people.
