As the Business Development & Marketing Lead (Value Added Products), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Value Added Products (VAP) offering. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a forward-thinking marketing strategy that ensures strong brand positioning and consistent messaging across all concrete-related activities. Additionally, you'll support the broader national commercial strategy, ensuring alignment and synergy across the business. This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne! We're seeking an "all-rounder"—someone who balances marketing expertise with a strong commercial acumen. You'll be working in a small, agile team that operates like a startup within the business, giving you the opportunity to drive innovation while benefiting from the resources and scale of a global leader.
Duties and responsibilities Oversee the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and materials for VAP and concrete, with a focus on increasing awareness of Holcim's value-added and sustainability offerings. Manage the annual sales and marketing budget for the concrete division, ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet strategic objectives. Support the overall operation of the national Commercial Function, contributing to cross-functional initiatives and alignment with national commercial priorities. Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including commercial builders, architects, engineers, and sustainability professionals, to drive market penetration and support business development efforts. Skills and experience Experience leading marketing strategy and execution within the construction materials industry or related field. Project management experience. Effective management of third-party contractor and suppliers. Qualifications in Business Management or related discipline. About Holcim
