About the Role: Due to the impending retirement of a high-performing incumbent, the Head of Retail role is becoming available. Reporting to the CEO, you will sit in the Senior Leadership Team alongside experienced Marketing, Franchise Development and Finance professionals. You will lead a team of Area Managers and Trainers engaging with both company store managers and franchisees, and be encouraged to shape this role and make it your own. You and your team have a clear mission: To attract and retain high calibre company store staff, coaching and guiding them to continually higher levels of performance and delivering sustainable growth and store profitability through delighting customers. To provide the same level of coaching and guidance to franchisees, helping them create wealth through delivering outstanding customer experiences that lead to profitable, sustainable businesses. About You: You are a retail leader with: Proven success in franchising environments. Specific experience in large format retail, or retail environments requiring a consultative selling process rather than a transactional one. A demonstrated history of leading teams to sustainable success, measured by both financial performance and customer feedback. A track record of coaching and inspiring the individuals in your team to higher levels of capability and performance. Ideally, experience in privately held businesses involving direct engagement with owners/shareholders.
