ABOUT THE ROLE Join Super Retail Group as Head of Pricing and Promotions and lead a team of pricing specialists as a Centre of Excellence, where your analytical and leaderships skills will help drive margin performance across all four of our brands. As a key partner to senior stakeholders across the organisation, you and your team will collaborate with Brand leadership teams to develop and deploy pricing and promotions strategies, providing high-quality analytics and insights to guide pricing decisions. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Pricing and Promotional Strategy: Develop the pricing and promotional strategy with a central pricing framework, personalised to each brand strategy Set/align pricing strategies and policies in collaboration with brand units. Undertake a strategic review of pricing and promotional strategy of brands as part of the annual strategy cycle, engaging with Brand MDs, Senior Leadership Teams, Brand GM Commercial, GM Finance Performance, and CFO. Automation Roadmap: Lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive Pricing and Promotions automation roadmap aligned with the company's portfolio programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on business impact and feasibility. Implement scalable solutions that enhance pricing and promotions efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Pricing and Promotion Initiatives Partner with Pricing Team and Brand Leadership Teams to develop and deliver multi-horizon initiative plans aligned with the strategy. Define specific and agreed margin improvement targets for each initiative. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and implementation of the initiative plans. Monitor progress against targets and adjust plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Your expertise lies in developing and deploying innovative pricing strategies and methodologies to optimize promotional effectiveness. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, you come with proven experience leading teams who have excelled at providing actionable insights and reports that have enabled retail brands to make informed decisions in their pricing and promotional strategies.
