As a seasoned finance professional, you will be joining an ASX listed diversified financial business, aspiring to join the ASX200. This role is pivotal in helping shape AFG's success. In this unique leadership role, you will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive functional change, enhance performance, and achieve operational excellence. Leading a large team, the role is responsible for all financial reporting and tax obligations, and delivery of the forecasting and reporting functions. Strategically, the position involves leveraging operational and strategic skills to provide insights that enhance AFG's financial performance through effective capital allocation.  Key responsibilities are typical of a Head of Finance in an ASX listed business, and include:  Leadership of AFG's finance team, developing talent and creating a capability pipeline aligned to AFG's current and future requirements  Establishing, overseeing and leading appropriate processes to ensure AFG's compliance with all relevant financial obligations  Leading the reporting and financial planning processes for the group delivering quality information crucial to enhance decision making, and advising on the financial implications of management decisions  Driving the implementation of strategic projects  Your Profile   To excel in this role, we seek an ambitious, energised, and inspiring leader, with experience in similar roles having supported the growth of those around them.
