Position Overview: As Head Chef, you will lead a talented kitchen team, overseeing all aspects of food production and service. Key Responsibilities: Menu Development: Create and innovate seasonal menus that showcase fresh, local ingredients and cater to a diverse clientele.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen brigade, fostering a positive and professional working environment.Quality Control: Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.Financial Management: Oversee food costs, stock control, and kitchen budgets, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality.Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all kitchen operations adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to source the best quality ingredients.Operational Efficiency: Manage kitchen schedules, staffing, and workflows to ensure smooth service during peak times.Customer Engagement: Work closely with the front-of-house team to gather feedback and continuously improve the dining experience.Ideal Candidate: Experience: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a similar high-volume, fresh food environment.Culinary Skills: Strong culinary skills with a passion for creativity and innovation in menu design.Leadership: Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing and developing a kitchen team.Business Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management, including cost control and budget management.Attention to Detail: High standards of food presentation, hygiene, and safety.Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.Adaptability: Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Why Apply?
