About the role
As a Learning & Development Specialist at Hanwha Defense Australia, you will play a crucial role in shaping the professional growth and development of our team. This full-time position is based in our Melbourne office (We will also consider Avalon as a base if you prefer to work out of our H-ACE facility and travel to the city occasionally.) where you will design and deliver engaging training programs to upskill and empower our employees.
What you'll be doing Developing and executing a comprehensive learning and development strategy for HDA in conjunction with the Head of HR. Conducting needs assessments to identify learning and development opportunities across the organisation. Collaborating with leaders across the business to identify current and future training needs and design, deliver or source programs as required. Facilitating training sessions and workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of our employees. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, and implementing continuous improvements. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development. Supporting the delivery of our Diversity & Inclusion goals. What we're looking for Experience in a learning and development or training role, preferably within corporate and operational or manufacturing environments. Proven ability to design and deliver engaging and impactful training programs. Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to diverse audiences. Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Familiarity with adult learning principles and the latest trends in training and development, including SCORM. A relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as Human Resources, Organisational Development, or Education. To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance (must be Australian Citizen ). Eligibility criteria can be found at .
