Women's and Children's Health Network, Paediatric Medicine, North Adelaide (5006) Salary Classification - GFSc2 - Grant Funded Scientist L2 - $88,255 to $101,285 Employment Part time - Ongoing Permanent / Term Contract (temporary up to 31 Dec 2026) About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Medicine team as a Grant Funded Scientist, where you will be responsible for: Coordinating research studies for the Diabetes Team and Clinics.
Performing data entry and maintaining clinical databases.
Developing, coordinating, and/or executing clinical research-related procedures.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
Experience of direct research coordination / management in clinical studies.
Demonstrated ability to maintain both integrity and confidentiality in dealing with issues of a sensitive nature.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and under consultant direction to meet deadlines and achieve agreed outputs whilst working with demanding and sometimes competing priorities.
Evidence of conducting research according to International Conference on Harmonisation – Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) standards.
Experience in maintaining general laboratory procedures and record keeping requirements to good laboratory practice (GLP) standards.
