About the RoleThe Global Category Head - Flexible Packaging will be responsible for developing and implementing a 2-3 year category strategy, aligning with our business objectives and driving sustainable savings of at least 3.5% per year.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to accelerate project implementation, promote best practices, and lead benchmarks across regions.

Specific Responsibilities for the Flexible Packaging Category
Define a sourcing strategy with Regional Procurement, including productivity, innovation, sustainability, and supplier strategiesMap requirements for the next 3 years, anticipating market evolution and identifying innovative packaging solutionsMap the market to identify new suppliers in strategic areas, challenging incumbent suppliersDefine a commodities cover strategy, linking with Procurement teams in Regions for timely executionBuild a strong cost-modelling program with key suppliers, ensuring prices are directly linked to specifications design and commodity covers or indicesShare benchmarks and best practices across all regionsBuild strong SRM with global and strategic suppliers, leveraging size and priority access to sustainability and innovation programsNegotiate agreements on behalf in all regions and align supplier selection with Procurement in the RegionsFinalize contracts with global suppliers, collecting requirements from stakeholders and supporting Procurement teams in RegionsIdentify improvement opportunities, develop should-cost models, and set up continuous improvement targets to drive savings and valueLead AOP for commodity assumptions and key cost-model assumptions
