About the Job As a member of the Member leadership team, your role will collaborate and contribute to leading and driving the strategic direction of the Member group. You'll lead the delivery of high-quality advice and retirement solutions to Rest members, aligned with Rest's ambition to be the fund our members trust, by growing and protecting their retirement savings. You will lead the continued development of Rest's advice and retirement offerings in line with Rest's strategic objective to provide the right offer and guidance at each stage of a member's life. In particular, you will focus on developing strategies and programs of work required to continue the delivery of valued and effective retirement solutions to members in line with the Retirement Income Covenant; develop the strategies and programs of work required to continue the successful delivery of member-centric, compliant intra-fund advice to members; and define the strategy and business model for the delivery of comprehensive advice to Rest members and the engagement model with external advisors for the benefit of Rest members in line with Rest's strategic objectives. A key success factor for this role will be having a strong enterprise approach that collaborates and leverages the resources and capabilities from across the Rest teams, with a particular focus on leveraging the Member and Service teams, and our key suppliers to implement key member advice and retirement solutions and programs in the workplace. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities Develop and lead a member centric retirement offering that meets member and strategic expectations (and outcomes) and regulatory requirements (inc. RIC). Develop the financial advice strategy and business model across channels (e.g., digital, phone, face-to-face) and ensure it remains up to date, fit for purpose and reflects best practice to enhance member outcomes. Collaborate across Member portfolio (esp. Workplace Super and Brand & Member Experience) to develop digital education to ensure best outcomes for Members. Ensure collaboration between Advice & Retirement and resources in other teams to deliver retirement seminars to members (delivered via Workplace Super team). Lead the Rest Advice & Retirement team to achieve the Rest strategic objectives, set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide management and performance reporting on all activities including the identification of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks and the associated mitigations to reduce risks and underachievement of KPIs. Ensure full consultation and buy-in across the business to facilitate the development, promotion and delivery of high-quality member advice and retirement services to Rest members. Drive Member NPS and CSAT measures as they relate to the delivery of advice and retirement services. Leverage and action the relevant voice of customer insights that support the continued improvement of member NPS. Ensure systems, processes and infrastructure are appropriate to ensure compliance and provide timely technical training services to support the requirements of AFSL and any other relevant regulatory requirements. Support regulatory awareness and management as it pertains to key ASIC rules around disclosure and no advice roles in the provision of advice to members.    Lead, select, and monitor services provided by outsourced advice and retirement providers. Qualifications About You: Relevant business degree/MBA/financial planning qualifications Relevant experience leading a financial planning business or practice or major Financial Services business unit.   In depth market experience and awareness of the Financial Services market. Proven ability to think strategically and develop strategy in consultation with key stakeholders. Understanding of the financial services industry and legislative changes impacting advice. Track record in leading advice businesses or practice. Strong senior stakeholder engagement, influencing and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to balance multiple projects, deadlines, and resource demands. Track record of leading successful teams and developing high performing team members. Ability to represent Rest as the leader of the Advice & Retirement function and present professionally to a range of audiences.
