Your New Role - Business Development Manager
Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will be able to utilize all contacts and facilities to ensure your clients are well catered for and all their service expectations are exceeded!
We are currently in search of a committed, dynamic, and seasoned Business Development Manager for a full-time position at the Brisbane office, who can bring their expertise and energy to the team.
Identify, target, and secure new business.Develop, report, and pursue a continuing active pipelinePrepare and present proposals and tenders to senior decision-makersNegotiate rate and service agreements with prospects and service providersDesign and implement standard operating procedures for new business Planning and developing presentationsAssisting in the development of marketing literatureBuilding and developing relationships with potential clientsWhat you will need to succeed:

You will be an experienced Freight Forwarding Business Development ManagerMinimum of 5 years experience in Freight Forwarding SalesLocal Market experience is essentialPrevious management experience with a strong ability to drive, develop and motivate team membersAdvanced negotiation and relationship skillsExperience influencing and engaging key figures in client organizationsStrong financial expertise with demonstrated ability to develop and implement business structuresPositive and professional attitudeProficient in the Microsoft Office suiteHigh attention to detail and strong planning and organizing skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to work autonomously and within a team environmentWhat you need to do now
