About the role It's an exciting time to join Senex with the recent announcement that we plan to invest more than A$1 billion in a major expansion of our Atlas and Roma North natural gas assets.
The FP&A Reporting Analyst is a dynamic role that collaborates closely with both the finance and operations teams to deliver data-driven analysis and insights that drive informed decision-making. Reporting into the Planning and Performance Manager your key accountabilities are as follows:
Maintain and improve the existing suite of management financial reports (capex, cashflow, P&L, B/S). Develop new insightful management reports. Assist in collating and maintaining the corporate Capex database. Generate insights and make performance improvement recommendations based on data. Improve robustness of reports, incorporating best practice data governance practices. Make use of the most appropriate tools to develop and share reports (e.g. PowerBI, Excel, SAP Analytics Cloud). Support the FP&A team in the month end, budgeting and forecasting process, particularly from a data integrity and reporting perspective. Develop and maintain process documentation for the suite of FP&A reports. Identify and recommend areas for improvement from a systems and processes perspective. About You You are a team player with exceptional organisation skills. You are curious and inquisitive and enjoy working with figures, have strong attention to detail and are a clear and open communicator
Accounting or related tertiary qualifications with experience in a similar or related role Demonstrated analytical, evaluation and reporting experience Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerBI / PowerQuery (or similar tool), SAP or similar ERP system Financial analysis, project cost control or resource (oil & gas) industry experience beneficial What's in it for you?
