Hobart Private is looking to employ a Food Services team member to join their busy department on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
As a Food Services Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays.Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards.Provide high standard of cleaning services within the kitchen.Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures.Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients.Selection Criteria: Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (Desired or working towards or willing to attain).All current vaccinations per the health care industry requirements.Current right to work, with unrestricted hours.Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services.Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team.Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work.Time management skills as this is a busy and key role within the Hospital.Great communication and customer service skills.Available for on call shifts.Grow Your Career with Us Join a team that values innovation, continued learning, and work-life balance.
